Dave has more than 25 years experience of developing and managing high technology businesses in the UK and overseas Telecommunications, Defence, Security, ITS and Automotive markets. As a professional electrical and electronics engineer, he has managed numerous ICT and ITS product development opportunities and still plays a key role in the development of standards in CCTV and Video Analytics for transport applications in the UK and US.
Dave's most recent roles include supporting the UK's inward investment teams in India, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan as well as maintaining his own business relationships with investment banks and government agencies in the US and ME.
His ability to blend his engineering background with numerous successful business projects has been well used in the successful development of operations serving the European, Asian and the US markets. His focus is on developing ICT investment opportunities and as an experienced and professional business developer and fellow of the IET; Dave brings significant industry gravitas to the UKTI team.
US CCTV expert to present at IFSEC

Dave Gorshkov, The chair of the US CCTV and Video Content Analytics (VCA) standards working group for the American passenger transport industry (TSWG1) will be presenting an overview of the developments in CCTV and VCA standards and opportunities for technology companies in the UK security and surveillance markets during the world's largest CCTV and surveillance conference being held at the NEC in May .
Dave is also the ICT/ITS technology adviser to the UK's department for Trade and Investment (UKTI) and provides support to overseas companies considering the UK as an investment opportunity, and is therefore well placed to present areas where CCTV and VCA technology can be deployed in the UK markets.
The presentation will be made during the IFSEC event at the NEC (May 10-13th ) and is sponsored by the US department for Commerce. Dave will also be attending the joint US and UKTI networking event on Tuesday evening were he will be available for discussions and interviews.
Major security experts attend HOSDB event

The 'invitation only' annual HOSDB event will take place in Farnborough, UK this week with leading security experts from around the world in attendance.
Dave Gorshkov, CEO of Digital Grape Business Services, will be among them in his role for the British Government's Trade and Investment department (UKTI) as a CCTV and Security technology expert supporting visits with transit security experts from the US based TSA and DHS.
Dave will be briefing overseas transit security agencies on the use of various types of CCTV and VCA technology as well as the various types of communications networks used in the transmission and recording of real-time imagery.
